I went there about one week ago, on Monday afternoon lunch, a wonderful time to celebrate a friend’s birthday. We had such a sweet time, the staff, everyone of them from service to bus boys, and The few in particular we spoke with us, Bob, Bob, and Louis. (I believe that’s his name) were superb and attentive, like family or old friends!! Food, the calamari, Personally, had the chicken Valsostana, And chef made dishes for my company that wasn’t even on the menu, and by the looks of it and by what they said, it was out of this world!! I wish I can give six stars,. Thank you, Louis, Bob, Bob, and staff!

Today is December 21th so I’m eating this leftover pizza but that’s not the point. On Thursday the 19th I’m just getting off the train and my phone’s dead. On top of that I was sick. I put my stuff outside the restaurant and the owner signaled me to come in. Little would I know this would change my life in a good way. I asked do you have a phone I need to call someone to pick me up since my phone died. He said sure, I was cold and shivering even with a big coat and hat on. Then he offered me a glass of water then a refill. On top of that he asked if I’d like something to eat. At first I said no then changed my mind then the owner asked what type of pie I wanted I said pepperoni. Pizza was done within 10 minutes or less which was perfect because my ride just arrived and the pizza was free. Sorry for the really long review but I’m just showing my gratitude for the hospitality and kindness of this man. I will never forget this and will definitely come back someday.

Save yourself a trip from going to New York. New York Pizza & Food. Right here in Little silver New Jersey. I've been a commuter from N.J. to New York. For over 33 years. And I have to tell you something. Family Tavola Pizza is not far from a decent pizza. And you don't have to waste gas and tolls. All hop on the train. All you have to do is Hop on over to Family Tavola Pizza & Restaurants. You have nothing to lose. P.S. Beautiful People too.

Walking in to the best flavors in town. Having spent much time traveling you learn the difference between Good and Great. Let's say Family Tavola is serving Great Dishes. The flavors of the eggplant appetizer was perfect with the meat Lasagna beyond Great tonight in Little Silver NJ. Enjoy your visit to this passionist restaurant.

This restaurant is the best! The service is incredible... they are so nice and so welcoming! The food is delicious and reasonably priced. They are always adding new menu items and specials. It is BYOB too! I highly recommend if you are looking for a nice, relaxing dinner out with a great ambiance!

My second time here and I like it a lot. The first time was with a business acquaintance and we stopped for slices. Yesterday my girlfriend and I stopped for slices to eat in while we waited for a to go pie. So far everything I’ve had here I’ve enjoyed, and we will definitely dine here often. Love the atmosphere with all the pictures of famous mob bosses.
